Apple announced its new watch “Apple Watch Series 5”. They announced this watch with the iPhone 11 series at its September launch event. While the iPhone did get the most attention, the new Watch Series 5 gets many new features.
Apple Watch Series 5 Features
- Built-in Compass
- International Emergency call
- New Always on Display
The overall design of the watch is similar to the Apple Watch Series 4. They only upgrade the internals and the display of the watch. Although, that was the display that gets the most attention among the audience. They showed a video explaining their new watch. The Display of the watch is Always on, which looks pretty gorgeous. The display of the watch is so good that it doesn’t seem to be a display. But it does look like an analog watch.
Watch faces has also been optimized for the new display. Apple says the new Always-on display won’t affect the battery life of the watch.
They include a built-in compass in the watch, which is a thing that we haven’t seen in a watch before. That feature will tell you the direction of you in the maps without even using the iPhone.
International calling has also been added to the new Watch Series 5. This is going to benefit a lot of people who travel a lot.
All the other features of the Watch Series 4 are included in this watch. Fall detection, electrical heart detection, and waterproofing are all included. Apple did not remove any feature for the sake of adding a new feature, which is great news.
Apple is collaborating with health organizations and sharing health data with them. But they ensure that your information will never be revealed.
